Me and Mini T

There is a new and exciting play area at Rockingham foreshore. The  wooden Pirate Ship is situated at the far end of foreshore and is a very welcome addition!  The ship is set amongst trees and has views out to the ocean, a great location to get children's imagination and play going.          There are two pic-nic tables and benches and there is plenty of shade under the trees surrounding the pirate ship.  There is so much to explore inside the main structure. It is split into two sections a lower and upper deck.  You can walk all around the inside of the ship and climb up into the upper deck from both inside and outside.  Inside it is all about balance, there are you will find a wooden balancing beam, tree stumps at different levels and a rope bridge that you can balance on to get to the other side.            The ship uses lots of different materia...

With so many new play parks in the area it's been great getting out and exploring them. Our first review has also featured on Buggybuddys  this month which we are pretty excited about!  With so much new and exciting development going on in Baldivis you would expect a new play park to match up.... and it doesn't disappoint!  Located in the new Baldivis Parks Estate, the play park is made unique by having four mini in-ground trampolines. These are super for kids of all ages and really are something different for them to find at a play park. There is a large rope climbing frame, a sandpit area and a cool nest swing. This is all next to half basketball court, making the area suitable for children of all ages to explore and enjoy.                                                          ...

If you are off camping or exploring the Dwellingup region and all it has to offer, don't miss out on a visit to the Blue Wren Cafe.  It could be your last stop before camping at Lane Poole , a delicious breakfast after a weekend in the wilderness or just a great place to have coffee.  With it's varied and well priced menu the Blue Wren has it all breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a fabulous range of home baked goods and drinks to take away. There is a core menu consisting of fresh sandwiches, rolls and wraps, burgers, fish and chips, salt and pepper squid and salads. There is also a fantastic specials board which always has great additional menu choices. We tried the curried vegetable fritters, which I have to say were delicious, especially the homemade chilli jam!  The homestyle food comes in generous portions and is all made with fresh produce. I am new to this but I have been inspired by our crazy year not only did our beautiful daughter enter our world but we also moved to the other side of the planet. These two life changing experiences have brought me here... This is a blog about our experience, the love, laughter, a few tears, days out,  and a little bit of shopping along the way. What do me and mini T get up to...I hear my husband asking sometimes and well here it is, this is the life of me and mini T.  I hope that it makes you smile, helps on days when you want to try something new in the area or just want to head out and meet new people.
