Aqua Jetty - Rockingham

Aqua Jetty leisure centre is at the heart of Rockingham’s community, it’s the only aquatic and recreational centre in the area and has so much to offer the whole family. 

Open all year round aqua jetty has a 50m heated outdoor pool and a heated 25m indoor pool providing recreational and lap swimming. There is also a large leisure pool with toddler beach entry and sprinklers.  
 


The leisure pool has a large slide open Monday - Friday from 4-5pm, Saturday 10.30am - 3.30pm and Sunday from 12.30pm - 2.30pm, there is also a whirl pool in the leisure pool area. Having all these facilities under one roof makes a great day out especially if you have children of different ages and swimming abilities. 

 

There are so many facilities at aqua jetty it really is worth checking out if you are in the local area these include; a hydro pool, a great crèche ($6 per 2h per child for non members or $4.40 per 2h, per child for members) a cafe, outdoor grassed areas with new BBQ facilities, an outdoor play area, a spa, sauna and steam room for after that work out, a fully equipped gym, group fitness studios, indoor and outdoor courts. 

 
This local facility always has so much going on including lots of community based sessions including swim school, teen fitness sessions for children, hydro movers, aqua aerobics and living longer, living stronger sessions for seniors.  
 
There is a great shop at the front of the centre selling an extensive range of swim wear and accessories, they also sell swim nappies at the front counter in case you forget! 
 

With an adult swim costing $5.90 and a child 5 and over $4.40 it is a really affordable day out with plenty of free parking outside the front of the centre and bike racks available. Prices for the other facilities and classes are all on the website or contact the centre for further details.

Rebound Indoor Trampoline Park - Port Kennedy

WA's newest indoor trampoline park has opened in Port Kennedy and it is awesome. The brand new arena runs hourly sessions which are unbelievable, there is such a buzz and energy there, it just makes you want to jump! I took my three year old but I'm so going back to try it out for myself or have a go at the excerise classes.    The staff are amazing with the kids and extreamly professional. There is a strong message on safety, encouraging everyone to jump within their limits. Each session starts with a briefing about the trampoline park's rules to keep all jumpers safe and maximise the fun.   T he arena has various sections where you can try and defy gravity, it's such an exciting experience and will totally wear your little ones out!  The free bounce area in the main court has 30 interconnected trampolines for you to jump, travel across and experiment on.
